It's Raining, It's Pouring, The Old Man is Snoring ...
So when I woke up I thought of this lovely little nursery rhyme and it made me think of where did that little saying come from. I know Ring Around the Rosy is associated with the Black Plague and I figured this would have some association too. With a quick search all that I could find was from Wikipedia and it was written about a meteorologist who predicted it would rain and then died during the night when he fell from his bed.
Does anyone know if this is true?

life update
so i went to this comedy thing thursday night. this guy who performed last saturday at eastville comedy club and i were talking that night, friended each other on facebook, and he told me about his show on thursdays at ochi’s lounge. so i went and it was fun, saw some funny people and while talking to the host afterwards blurted that i want to try it. here goes nothing. in may or june, i will be making my debut. im scared but also feel kind of at east about it. ive been craving a change in my routine and think maybe this could be it. i want to do more, live more, get out more, meet new people. maybe its from being sequestered due to lack of money and shitty winter weather, but i am ready to take spring by the horns and say FUCK YEAH I LIVE IN NYC AND I AM GOING TO DO THE DAMN THING. sure i love my life, but i always feel you can make some improvements. im about to be 26 years old and in october i will have been here 4 years….and theres still so much i need to see and do! i feel like im in the yes man, but i really am going to start saying yes to more things…except boys ;-)
