I am so glad I am able to be home and spend my Dad’s birthday with he and my family.

friday- made copious amounts of sausage balls for 3 hours, ate some fried chicken, watched up with mike and adam, joan came home tipsy and had a buffet of pizza and southern food
saturday- slept in, joan said i have to move out because i stole the plunger again, work, shower, party at vals with the crew for christmas, drinks and hopefully seeing an old friend thats in town

my family has a drink that we always make during the christmas season dubbed “the recipe.”
weve had it my whole life and its such a fun thing because a) it has whiskey in it and b) it brings even more visitors to the house for a christmas drink and a visit.

for future reference, 2 pounds of pork, 2 blocks of cheese, and 4 cups of bisquick yields about a million sausage balls.
