In 1977, she developed romantic feelings for a pre-Robocop Peter Weller when they co-starred in the Chicago premiere of The Woods, a David Mamet play about an intense relationship. The entire experience, including living in a freezing-cold, squalid hotel, left LuPone miserable and depressed. Bits of our weekend: On Saturday, we went to the flea market. I spent most of my time at the Pyrex booth, naturally. I got a new 402 bowl in light blue and white Homestead pattern.

It’s Friday, and your dad knew what that meant - it was time to drink his goddamn face off. He won every party he ever went to and woke up Saturday as the hungover champion of last night. He was a weekend legend that will go down in the whiskey-history books as a giant among drunks and King of all that was getting shitty.
